Nd(2)Fe(14-x)M(x)C compounds, with M = Ni, Cu, Ga and Al and x less th
an or equal to 1.0, have been prepared by long time annealing at tempe
ratures below that of solid state transformation. The Curie temperatur
es are determined mainly by the site distribution of M elements. The s
aturation magnetizations are dependent on the nature of the M elements
and their molar fractions.
