V. Neu et al., HIGH REMANENCE ND-FE-B-X(X=CU,SI,NB3CU,ZR) POWDERS BY MECHANICAL ALLOYING, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 158, 1996, pp. 61-62
Composite magnetic powders based on the coexistence of a hard Nd2Fe14B
phase and soft alpha-Fe have been produced by mechanical alloying and
subsequent heat treatment. In order to optimize the microstructure, t
he influence of different additions to a Nd8Fe88B4-based composition h
as been investigated. For additions of Zr and Si; remanences of around
1.1 T were obtained together with coercive fields of mu(0)H(c) = 0.4-
0.43 T.
