The field dependences of the piezomagnetic coefficients for amorphous
alloys of the system Co-Mo-Ni-Zr with low magnetostriction have been m
easured by a dynamic stress technique. The alloys were heat-treated in
a transverse magnetic field. All the field dependence curves of the p
iezomagnetic coefficients are the curves show maxima. Three main types
of curves were obtained: a rapid increase in low field and a sharp ma
ximum; a rapid increase in low field and a wide maximum; and a slow in
crease and a maximum in a field close to saturation. These differences
are probably connected with different contributions of the stress mag
netization: magnetization rotation and 90 degrees domain wall motion d
ue to the heat treatment of the samples.
