Ea. Ganshina et al., MAGNETOOPTICAL PROPERTIES AND ELECTRONIC-STRUCTURE OF FE-CO-SI-B ALLOYS, Journal of magnetism and magnetic materials, 158, 1996, pp. 243-244
For a number of ferromagnetic amorphous and crystalline Fe-Co-Si-B all
oys the relation of the structural phase state and the optical and mag
neto-optical (MO) properties and the dielectric permeability tensor we
re studied in the energy range 0.5-4.0 eV. A resonance growth of the t
ransversal Kerr effect (TKE) in the near IR region was found in the al
loy Fe18Co60Si9B13 after the structural phase transition, which is rel
ated to the formation of a superstructure of the CsCl type.
