Abstract
A(x)(3+)B(1-x)(2+)MnO(3) perovskites have striking magneto-resistance properties showing effects close to - 100% in fields of a few tesla in some cases. When x = 0.3, magnetic and transport properties are quali tatively similar with a resistivity peak below T-c, but there are enor mous quantitative differences depending on the A and B cations present .
