Abstract
Monte Carlo simulations have been performed to study the magnetic rela xation of a small-particle system with dipolar interaction. The simula ted system is a simplified version of the real situation in a small-pa rticle system. The model consists of a one-dimensional Ising model wit h dipolar interaction and a distribution of uniaxial anisotropy streng ths. The T ln(t/tau(0)) scaling is used to determine the effective ene rgy barrier distribution.
