Abstract
In this paper we report results on the response of a digitizer based o n reflections in magnetostrictive delay lines consisting of magnetic a morphous wires. We tested Fe77.5Si7.5B15 amorphous wires in the as-cas t condition and after stress-current annealing. The proposed digitizer has an exponential response with respect to the force applied at the sensing point.
