Abstract
The temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibilities of YNi5 a nd CeNi5 exchange-enhanced Pauli paramagnets show broad maxima at T-ma x approximate to 250 and 100 K, respectively, and at high temperatures fit a Curie-Weiss law. The experimental data may be described in term s of the self-consistent renormalization theory of spin fluctuations.
