Abstract
A strong anisotropic magnetoresistance has been measured in a single c rystal of UFe4Al8 and has been used to prove the ferromagnetic order o f the U lattice. The giant anomaly detected in the magnetoresistance c urves is interpreted as two 90 degrees rotations of the magnetisation. This interpretation has been confirmed by magnetisation measurements.
