Abstract
Treatment of titanacyclobutenes I vith two equivalents of dichlorophen ylphosphine affords diphosphacyclopentenes, two examples of which were structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analys is. The analogous reaction of a titanacyclobutene with dichlorophenyls tibine affords the corresponding distibacyclopentene as well as a stib acyclobutene. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
