Abstract
The standard modality to treat colorectal cancer in potentially curabl e patients is, undoubtedly, surgery. The concept of precautional chemo therapy used in tumors located elsewhere, has put forward a clinical t rial that proved its effectiveness and improved survival, We report th e use of two modalities (chemotherapy and radiotherapy) along with sur gery as part of a multidisciplinary treatment of patients with colorec tal cancer.
