Abstract
Hemorrhoidectomy is one of the most effective treatments for significa ntly symptomatic hemorrhoids. By placing the patient in the Sims' posi tion and appropriately using the Hill-Ferguson retractor and towel cli p, the surgeon can get good exposure and perform a Ferguson closed hem orrhoidectomy without any assistance.
