ndiana, Iowas, Montana, and West Virginia from 1988 through 1993. Meth
ods. State survey data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Sy
stem (BRFSS) were analyzed. Results. Demographic characteristics assoc

cessation efforts are needed.
