Abstract
The anatase structure of titanium dioxide (TiO2) shows high catalytic activity as a semiconductor photocatalyst. Anatase thin films were suc cessfully fabricated by spray pyrolysis of peroxo-polytitanic acid. Fi lms have an indirect bandgap energy of 3.08 eV and a direct bandgap en ergy of 3.65 eV. The porosity of the films increased with increasing s ubstrate temperature.
