A method of constructing a new family of solutions for higher-dimensio
nal perfect-fluid spheres from a known perfect-fluid solution is prese
nted. We consider perfect-fluid solutions satisfying the equation of s
tate p = k rho, 0 < k less than or equal to 1. A new family of higher-
dimensional interior solutions is obtained for each value of k from a
Tolman-type higher-dimensional perfect-fluid solution. Also, we presen
t a solution, in higher dimensions, with spheroidal geometry on the hy
persurfaces t = constant.
