Abstract
Simultaneous transmission of subcarrier multiplexed multichannel PM-vi deo and 3-GHz binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) digital signals, co-pro pagated with ATM/SONET multimedia services has been demonstrated for t he first time in a reconfigurable multiwavelength all-optical network testbed. The experiment was performed over 160 km of single-mode fiber and a cascade of six erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA's) and five wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) cross-connects.
