Abstract
Three new West Indian species of Leptogaster: hyacinthina, lineatus an d bahamienses of the obscuripes species group are reported and a key t o all known species is presented. The identification of L. obscuripes and L. obscuripennis is discussed and L. roederi is redescribed. Lecto types are designated for L. obscuripennis and L. roederi.
