The larval stages of Paraleptophlebia assimilis and P. jeanae are desc
ribed for the first time from specimens associated by rearing male adu
lts. Both species are distinctive as larvae, and mouthpart structure i
s useful for differentiating them from similar species. Materials exam

nown range of both species.
