Abstract
We report the infestation of a human corpse by the Palearctic nitiduli d beetle Nitidula flavomaculata in Adams County, Colorado. The human c orpse was discovered in early January. This introduced beetle may have become a member of the cold-season carrion community, previously domi nated by a fly, the cheese skipper, Piophila casei, along the Front Ra nge of Colorado.
