Abstract
In this paper new 3-carboxamides of 4-hydroxy-2H-1,2-benzothiazine-1,1 -dioxides were synthesized by aminolysis of -2-hydro(methyl)-2H-1,2-be nzothiazine-3-carboxylic acid ethyl ester-1,1-dioxides with substitute d aminopyrimidines or aminotriazines. Their structures were characteri zed by H-1 NMR, IR, MS and elementary analysis. The biological tests i ndicated that the majority of these compounds showed herbicidal activi ty and some showed better plant-growth regulating activity and antiinf lammatory activity.
