A 4-month-old male European Short Hair Cat was presented with strangur
ia and chronic urinary tract infection. Clinical signs, sonagraphic an
d histophatologic findings as well als the results of hematologic and
biochemical investigation observed in this cat are described. A bilate
ral orthotopic ureterocele was diagnosed via sonography and laparotomy
. Surgical therapy included ureterocelectomy and reimplantation of the
affected ureter.
