We follow the evolution of He-3 in stars of mass 0.8 ... 10M(.) for Po
p. I and II compositions from the main sequence until advanced stages
on the AGE. Under standard assumptions we confirm earlier results of m
ore restricted investigations that low-mass stars up to 5M(.) are net
producers of He-3. We show that the inclusion of additional mixing due
to diffusion beneath the convective envelope simultaneously leads to
carbon isotope anomalies observed in globular cluster Red Giants and t
o a strong reduction of He-3, such that stars exhibiting such anomalie
s will have destroyed He-3 contrary to the standard picture.
