Abstract
The development of assessment methods for leak-before-break (LBB) is s ummarized and Sharpies' LBB assessment method is considered the most u niversal method. A complement is made for it, so engineers can have a new method and make a judgement on the safety of equipment according t o the sizes of defects. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
