The electrolyte migration was investigated using a multi-electrode typ
e cell having 9 electrodes separately located on the same insulator wi
th a common electrolyte plate(1)). The resistance change tvas found to
be useful for understanding the electrolyte migration. In this report
, we measured the time of electrolyte movement by using small-sized ce
ll (416 cm(2)). As a result, the time of electrolyte movement provided
by this method was almost same as a value provided by the penetration
rate measurement method(2)). And a profile of fuel gas density in the
electrode plane was analyzed.
