Abstract
The yrast spectra, intrinsic quadrupole moments and root mean square r adii for each angular momentum state, calculated for Ru-108-112 isotop es by carrying out Cranked-Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov (CHFB) calculations . These calculations have been performed by employing pairing-plus-qua drupole-quadrupole effective interaction operating in a reasonably lar ge valence space outside Sr-76 core. The experimentally available spec tra upto 10(+) is reasonably well reproduced. Our results indicate tha t there is a possibility for observing backbending phenomenon in Ru-10 8,Ru-110,Ru-112 at spins 12(+), 20(+) and 14(+), respectively, which r emains yet to be confirmed experimentally.
