Abstract
We report the only known case of intracardiac vena cava filter migrati on resulting in valvular dysfunction. Echocardiographic evaluation doc umented the filter stenting open the tricuspid valve, with wide-open r egurgitation. This case, as well as 22 cases of filter migration repor ted in the English literature, are used as a background to review prev ention and treatment strategies.
