Nm. Ostrovskii et Tp. Mitsulya, DISTRIBUTION OF THE ACTIVE COMPONENT AMONG PORES OF DIFFERENT SIZE (MICRODISTRIBUTION), Reaction kinetics and catalysis letters, 58(1), 1996, pp. 161-168
The role of active component distribution among the pores of different
size in supported catalysts has been examined. The influence of ''mic
rodistribution'' on catalyst pellet activity and stability were studie
d. It was shown that the ''microdistribution'' parameter does not affe
ct the pellet effectiveness factor in the case of gas-phase reactions.
High catalyst stability can be achieved when the fraction of ''microp
ores'' does not exceed 30-40%, otherwise the deactivation rate constan
ts in small and large pores differ less than 5 times.
