Abstract
Studies using 3 soils (0.70 - 3.33 % of org. C) with 14 C-14-labelled pesticides (log K-ow between - 0.80 to + 6.9) in the range of 10 - 20 ng/g have been performed by ultrasonic extraction with methanol-aceton -water = 30:30:40. Recoveries yielded 75-90 % for compounds of log K-o w less than or equal to 5 with the exception of compounds containing 2 free amino groups.
