Solvability results for infinite inequality systems involving convex a
nd difference of convex (DC) functions are given. Generalizations of F
arkas' lemma are obtained. These results are presented in terms of epi
graphs of conjugate functions. Applications are given for characterizi
ng global epsilon-optimality (and optimality) of difference of convex
(DC) optimization problems with convex inequality constraints. Solvabi
lity results for cone convex inequality systems are also given. (C) 19
