Abstract
We consider (1, 0)-supersymmetric nonlinear sigma models coupled to Ya ng-Mills fields. By using a regularization-independent algebraic metho d, we discuss the renormalizability of these models. In particular, we show that, though the algebraic method signals a potential anomaly, f ixed by means of a nontrivial cocycle, an inspection of the component- field action reveals that no anomaly can be generated.
