Kz. Gumargalieva et al., PHYSICOCHEMICAL CRITERIA FOR ESTIMATING THE EFFICIENCY OF BURN DRESSINGS, International journal of polymeric materials, 33(3-4), 1996, pp. 199-233
The medical treatments of burns usually involve the use of dressings.
it is well known that frequently these treatments aggravate the injury
. Since the methods for the estimating the burn dressing efficiency ar
e very complex, their performance characteristics are usually not pres
ented in the literature. We carried out a systematic study to develop
a meaningful physico-chemical method of analysis to estimate burn dres
sing efficiency and establish criteria for their healing potential.
