A scheme of sound amplification by the stimulated emission of radiatio
n (saser) with a cylindrical resonator is suggested. The pumping is cr
eated by mechanical oscillations of the cylinder. The liquid with gas
bubbles serves as an active medium. The phase bunching of bubbles is r
ealized by acoustic radiation forces. Generation conditions for this s
aser are evaluated. Two types of losses must be overcome for the begin
ning of the generation. The first type results from the energy dissipa
tion in the active medium and the second type is caused by radiation l
osses on the faces of the resonator.
