Abstract
Four patients with chronic vulval inflammation are described. The hist ological features of non-caseating granulomata and multinucleated gian t cells are compatible with Crohn's disease, but only two patients had proven gastrointestinal involvement. The clinical and histological ch aracteristics of Crohn's disease and other granulomatous inflammations of the vulva are discussed and the literature is reviewed.
