Jam. Sierra et al., ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY MEASUREMENTS FOR THE SYSTEMS DECYLAMMONIUM CHLORIDE WATER AND CESIUM PERFLUOROOCTANOATE WATER IN THE ISOTROPIC-PHASE, Colloids and surfaces. A, Physicochemical and engineering aspects, 117(1-2), 1996, pp. 143-149
Electrical conductivity has been measured for decylammonium chloride a
nd cesium perfluorooctanoate aqueous solutions over a range of concent
rations from 0-50 wt.% using an alternating field with frequencies fro
m 0.1-20 kHz at 20, 30, 40 and 50 degrees C. From the results the crit
ical micelle concentration and free energy of micellization have been
discussed and compared with the literature data. Also, the activation
energy has been evaluated from conductivity results at various tempera
tures. Considerable differences were found between the activation ener
gy at low and high concentrations for both systems.
