I. Kleiner et al., MICROWAVE-SPECTRA OF MOLECULES OF ASTROPHYSICAL INTEREST .23. ACETALDEHYDE, Journal of physical and chemical reference data, 25(4), 1996, pp. 1113-1210
The microwave spectrum of acetaldehyde is critically reviewed and supp
lemented with spectral frequency calculations derived from the rotatio
n-internal rotation analysis. A simultaneous analysis of the torsional
ground state, upsilon(t) = 0, and first and second torsionally excite
d states, upsilon(t) = 1 and 2, was carried out. The primary objective
of this review is to provide radio astronomers with complete spectral
coverage over the range of 900 MHz to 500 GHz for the ground state an
d covering rotational quantum number, J, from 0 to 26. (C) 1996 Americ
