Abstract
This paper discusses a way to protect the structural elements of optic al devices that operate under the action of aggressive gaseous media b y using surface-active fluoro-organic compounds. Using the techniques of chemical technology, such compounds can be applied in the form of a thin-film coating onto the surface of structural elements that requir e anticorrosion protection. It is shown that, for a whole series of wi dely used materials, the structural elements of a device undergo no su bstantial change of their optical properties in the presence of the co ating.
