Abstract
We introduce the subordinate process, in Bochner's sense, of a two-par ameter symmetric Markov process and exhibite some of its properties. B ased on the generalized Dynkin formula, we prove two inequalities sati sfied by the subordinate process, These inequalities can be used to gi ve probabilistic characterizations of capacities related to many inter esting fractional Sobolev spaces.
