Abstract
Different samples have been taken from different layers in a sedimenta ry phosphatic deposit and sieved. Different granulometric fractions ha ve been selected. Uranium contents of each phosphate sample and its co rresponding selected fractions were determined by using CR-39 and LR-1 15 solid state nuclear track detectors (SSNTD). Correlation between fr action grain diameter and uranium enrichment factor has been investiga ted. The different selected fractions of the studied phosphate samples were analysed optically. A relationship between uranium content and f raction's composition was found. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science L td
