The classical problem of the stabilization of dynamical systems is sol
ved by methods of the theory of optimal processes. An auxiliary optima
l control problem includes a test perturbation. An optimal control of
the feedback type is constructed for each generalized position, using
an open-loop control which is optimal for the test perturbation. Such
controls generalize classical feedback in the sense that no allowance
