Abstract
Water activities of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) + salt + H2O systems h ave been measured using an improved isopiestic method at 25 degrees C. The salts used were MgSO4, (NH4)(2)SO4, KH2PO4, and K2HPO4. The water activities were correlated successfully with an empirical equation.
