Abstract
The solubilities of o-chlorobenzoic acid, p-chlorobenzoic acid, o-nitr oaniline, and p-nitroaniline in dimethylformamide (DMF) + water at dif ferent compositions are reported at 303 K. At this temperature, p-chlo robenzoic acid is more soluble than o-chlorobenzoic acid in DMF + wate r with the difference in solubilities increasing with the DMF content. For the nitroanilines, however, o-nitroaniline is more soluble than p -nitroaniline in DMF + water.
