Abstract
A qualitative analysis algorithm for system architectures is proposed based on a specifically adopted kind of causal networks with fuzzy inf luence weights. It allows for an interactive assessment of system arch itectures and identifies side effects of architectural changes as well as possible optimization in order to achieve specific system properti es. Design constraints and invariant conditions are considered and che cked for violation.
