A unique Cu(II)-hydroxide complex, [Cu(tppa)(OH)]ClO4 (TPPA = tris[(6-
(pivaloylamino)-2-pyridyl)methyl]amine), has been obtained from the [C
u-II(tppa)(O-2(-))]ClO4 complex in a methanol solution and characteriz
ed by the electronic absorption, ESR and ESI-MAS spectra and the X-ray
diffraction method.
