Abstract
Pure diborane preparation by a solid phase mechanochemical reaction of tin(II) chloride with sodium tetrahydroborate, performed in a hermeti c vibration ball mill, has been advanced and studied. The reaction is carried out without using any solvents as a reaction medium which subs tantially simplifies the synthesis.
