Z. Alfirevic et al., THYROTROPIN-RELEASING-HORMONE AND CORTICOSTEROIDS PRIOR TO PRETERM LABOR - A SURVEY OF CURRENT PRACTICE IN 9 EUROPEAN COUNTRIES, European journal of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive biology, 68(1-2), 1996, pp. 43-45
There is considerable variation in the use of cortisosteroids within E
urope before possible preterm delivery. Thyrotropin releasing hormone
is rarely used as synergistic treatment in most, but not all, European
countries-presumably reflecting uncetainty about the effectiveness an
d safety of this agent.
