Rm. Lazzarin et al., AMMONIA-WATER ABSORPTION MACHINES FOR REFRIGERATION - THEORETICAL ANDREAL PERFORMANCES, International journal of refrigeration, 19(4), 1996, pp. 239-246
In principle, absorption chillers of the ammonia-water type could work
at temperatures well below the usual air-conditioning temperatures, a
rriving at the range 250-260 K, which can be useful for refrigeration
applications. This possibility is studied For a air-cooled machine, co
mparing the results with the experimental data supplied by a manufactu
rer that recently commercialized such a refrigerator. The prediction i
s fair, and the study allows an insight into the internal parameters a
nd into the possible behaviour for more severe conditions than those s
tudied. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd and IIR
