Abstract
The total synthesis of (R)-(+)-sinulariol-D, a marine cembranol, was f irst described from E-geranyl acetone and (R)-(+)-limonene used as a c hiral pool through eleven steps by using the modified Wittig reaction and titanium-induced intramolecular dicarbonly coupling as key steps.
