Abstract
A synthetic pathway to new 2,3-di indolyl-1,4-naphthoquinones is evalu ated. Access to these structures via the addition of an indole to 1,4- naphthoquinones, 2-(3-indolyl)-1,4-naphthoquinones or 2,3-disubstitute d-1,4-naphthoquinones has been studied. New ''symmetrical'' and ''unsy mmetrical'' 2,3-diindolyl-1,4-naphthoquinones have been prepared.
