Abstract
Using a method described previously, we calculate the energy spectrum
of electrons in GaAs containing a cluster of 29 arsenic atoms. We find
energies of localized states in the band gap associated with the clus
ter, and obtain images of the electron density. We discuss the evoluti
on of these states from the A(l) level of an isolated As-Ga defect. (C
