M. Maury et al., VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE INTERACTIONS BETWEE N A CONSULTANT, A MOTHER AND HER CHILD, La Psychiatrie de l'enfant, 39(1), 1996, pp. 207-249
A group of five researchers/clinical practitioners got together to stu
dy specific phenomenon : the therapeutic consultation of a young mothe
r with her five-month-old child. Each one used a different method of a
nalysis of a filmed document with the aim of describing, on one hand,
the visible interactions in the triad : mother-baby-consultant, and on
the other hand, the representations in the heads of each member of th
e triad. The results and their comparison show points of convergence i
n the interpretations made of the material observed. An enrichment of
clinical practice data obtained through microanalysis thanks to appear
s to be cine of the first benefits of this type of research.
